This 1972 Buick GS 455 Stage One has been restored to resemble the real deal. The car started its life out as a V8 Skylark. The previous owner spent approx. $40 during the restoration process. The cars body is all original, the sheet metal is overall excellent. Orig. rear quarters with no signs of any repairs or patch panels noticed. Solid doors, front fenders, GS hood, trunk lid, all excellent. Trunk pan and floor pans are extremely nice. Solid frame with no signs of any rust repair. Mirror finish paint that has that high gloss shine. The body panels are super straight as well as all the lines on this car are excellent. Doors open and close perfectly. Complete new weather strip, new replacement shaded windshield, all other glass is in fantastic shape. GS rocker moldings, new wheel opening moldings, dual color keyed racing mirrors, 15" Buick Rallye wheels with Cooper Cobra Radial GT RWL tires, P275/60 R15: in the rear and P225/70 R15" up front. Nice clean original bright work and stainless, GS hood with functional fresh air induction. The finish is brilliant as you can see the car presents itself very well. The car has a built 455 Stage One motor. It is equipped with PS, PFDB, Edelbrock alum intake, Holley 4 barrel carb., MSD 6 AL spark control, MSD Pro Billet dist., Accel 8.8 plug wires, headers with 3" exhaust with dual Flow Master mufflers gives this car a nicely tuned rumble sound. Stage One air cleaner element that is original. 4 core alum radiator, Billet alum period valve covers, deep groove pulley, six blade fan, chrome radiator core support panel. Built for performance, you'll experience the true muscle car package. The front end components are completely restored using a polyurethane suspension kit. New upper and lower control arm bushings, ball joints, sway bar link, shocks, etc. The car was restored approx.. 10 yrs. ago and driven only sparingly to local car shows and cruise nights. TH400 automatic trans., 12 bolt 3.73 Posi traction axle, full sway bar, HD front sway bar up front. GS front grille, driver quality rear chrome bumpers, new re chromed front bumper with lower chin spoiler. Check out the interior...1966 GTO bucket seats, Grant GT cushion grip steering wheel, B & M ratchet shifter with reverse lock out. Auto meter oil and water gauges neatly installed under the dash, Monster Sun Pro white faced tach with rev light, Kenwood MP3, am/fm CD with 6 speaker sound system with remote, new carpet, seat covers, orig. dash pad with no cracks, orig. door panels and headliner that has a small tear on passengers side. Factory style GM seat belts, shoulder harnesses. Overall, very nice interior and shows well. The under carriage is quite impressive. Nice and clean floors, frame, inner and outer rockers with no issues, solid orig. body mounts. Basically, original but overall very solid, original under carriage. Now, lets talk performance. The car handles extremely well. Built by a local engine builder who is best known for performance engines, this car is exceptionally fast with superior acceleration, tight steering, excellent braking, no rattles or clunking.
