1969 DODGE SUPER BEE, This is one of only 826 hardtops 440 6-Pack 4-Speed A12 Super Bees produced in 1969. Finished in the original color of Hemi Orange, this car was restored approximately 5 years ago, and has only been driven 2,400 miles since. The engine in the car is a date-correct 1969 E440HP 440, but not the original engine to the car. The carbs are correct part numbers for a 1969 1/2 4-speed car. The air cleaner assembly is original as well as the "054" radiator. The Hemi 4-speed transmission is not original to the car, but once resided in a 1969 GTX (full VIN on transmission). Equipped with 4.10 gears from the factory, this car now has 3.54 gears installed in the Dana 60, which allows it to be driven and enjoyed without the use of a rev limiter. The original 4.10 gears will go with the car when sold. The car is equipped with black bench seat interior with headrests and shoulder belts. The instrument bezels have been re-chromed and detailed and a quartz movement added to the clock. The car has non-power 11" drum brakes and manual steering. Tires are new G70-15 Redline Firestone Wide Ovals mounted on 15"x6" "H" stamped steel wheels. A new H-Pipe with hemi mufflers were just installed as well as a new HD 11" clutch. These cars were all produced on either of two days. March 29,1969 and April 26,1969. This car was scheduled to be produced on March 29,1969.The A12 package consisted of the following equipment: Heavy Duty 11" drum brakes, A833 "Hemi" 4-Speed transmission, 4.10 Dana Sure Grip rear differential, 440 6-Pack engine, with 3-two barrel Holley carburetors on an Edelbrock intake manifold, 3-speed wipers, 7-blade clutch fan, 26" radiator, flat black lift-off fiberglass hood, and 15x6 steel wheels, painted black with red line G-70 x 15 tires.
