Just in and being prepared. Starting point: a rust free Southern car, 67,000 orignal miles, excellent body with no-so-old deep red paint (a few small blemishes but hardly noticeable), excellent floor pan/chassis/sills, no smoke, 75-80 psi oil pressure, 145-150 psi xompression, tight front end, brakes work well, no rattles, very clean engine bay, trunk is perfect and rust free, excellent wiring, nice starting point. Work being done: new Autumn leaf interior, complete professional chrome bumper conversion, new bumpers and grille, wire wheel conversion with all new hubs, hardware, and chrome knock offs, new top, wood dash and wood steering wheel, modern stereo/CD with USB input, rebuilt front end (bushings, springs, etc.), lowered to early B ride height, new Weber and new tubular headers, modern high output electric cooling fan, AND A LOT MORE. While most MGB enthusiasts aren't too happy with these later model cars....ugly, ill handling and gutless are terms often used...they do have some strong positive points. The best dash with the biggest gauges, a clock, front and rear sway bars, power assisted brakes, better trans/engine mounting, smoother engines, better gearboxes, less time to rust and being ugly, slow, and ill handling, probably werent't thrashed by boy racers. In short, an ideal starting point. This car has such an excellent body tub/paint, etc. that it will be done fairly quickly. And IF purchased prior to completion, a new owner can have a choice of interior color and material. Same with wheels, tires, etc. Inquire for details Price: $16,900
