Detroit AutoRama winner, Pro Street, Show Car, desirable body style...,, Questions? Concerns? Want to see 100s more photos? Contact Chad cell direct),,,,, [ Paint ] - The paint is extremely smooth, shiny…and just absolutely beautiful. It appears to match very well all the way around, and is rubbed smooth without any apparent orange peel or defects in the paint. It definitely received a high quality, professional repaint!, There are a few nicks around the hood area (from taking the hood off and on - see additional photos), but other than that, the car is pretty free of scratches.,, [ Body ] - Look through all of the photos (down the sides, at all angles) and see how beautifully straight the body is. The workmanship that went into making this Camaro so exceptionally smooth is remarkable. The fits on the doors, around the trunk and the hood are also very nicely done. We do not detect any dents - everything just looks extremely correct., We went over the car with a magnet trying to detect filler and repairs. It looks like skim coat was applied to make it so smooth, as well as very deep custom paint.,, [ Chrome/Bright Work ] - The chrome looks extremely fresh - almost like it has never had any exposure. We did not notice any pits or scratches. The only “flaw' we see is a crack in between the 2 and the 7 on the “427' emblem on the right front. The seller is still looking for a new one.,, [ Glass ] - The glass on the windshield, rear side windows, and rear window are all Lexan material. It is all in very nice condition, although the rear window looks a little cloudy (it needs to be cleaned from the inside). All of the glass looks secure, without any cracking. There may be some small scratches that could be polished out., Note: There are NO side windows in this Camaro. The new owner can install power side windows if he chooses.,, [ Interior ] - The previous owner originally built this car to be more of a “show car' (while the current owner wanted to drive and enjoy it). The seller installed new custom carpet, seats with belts, etc. Under the carpet, the floors are painted with the same custom artwork you see on the doors, rear wheel wells, and ceiling. The reason there is so much attention to detail is again, the previous owner designed it to be a “functional show car'., The steering wheel is a Grant GT with chrome center, vinyl exterior, and tilt steering column. All of the gauges are Pro Comp (fuel pressure, oil pressure, volt meter, water temperature, and tachometer) and the shifter is a Hurst. For show, there is a decorative nitrous oxide bottle. The bottle is empty and is not fixed to the engine., Note: Included in the sale is the nitrous plate, lines, and solenoids (see photos).,, [ Trunk ] - The custom paint work and theme is carried over into the rear. Here you will see more attention to detail, and also a new, larger, custom built fuel cell that was recently fabricated and installed.,, [ Tires and Wheels ] - In the photos, you can see the front and rear wheels have a similar design, and also see good, clear pictures of the tread. The front tires are M-T Mickey Thompson Sportsmans, size 26 x 17.50 15LT. The rears are ET Street, 32 x 17.50 15LT. We do not notice any curb damage or deterioration on the tires or wheels.,, [ Engine compartment ] - The owner recently installed powder coated and cleared custom sheet metal to focus attention on the engine. The hood is a fiberglass design but other than that and the spoiler, the rest of the body is steel.,, [ Chassis ] - Church's Fabrication has worked on this Camaro, and have taken care of the seller's cars over the years. Jeff, the owner, let us put the car on a rack to take chassis pictures. A lot of the components on the bottom side were installed by Jeff and his company, so he explained some information to us., The car has rack and pinion steering in the front. It is basically a stock front sub-frame that has been modified to meet the needs of the builder. It is structurally tied to the rear and components by tubular steel, which is very common. They also used small steel to strengthen it and tie in the rockers and floor pan., This Chevy has front and rear disk brakes. The fronts are Wilwoods, and are more of a street style disk; the rears are a more racing style disk., Look through all of the photos to see the amazing componentry. The seller did not even wipe the dust off the bottom side. You are seeing it just as it looks all the time. Notice all of the tubular arms in the front, and the steel and billet that were incorporated into the front of the engine. Note the custom work that was done on the firewall, as well as the shielding constructed around the engine. Check out the Flowmaster mufflers that go into a high quality, exhaust system., Also in the pics, you can see there was a little leak on the carb. The seller recently had installed new plugs (because it is not driven often) and 2 new accelerator pumps (there was a little dripping on the front side, going to the manifold).,, [ Mechanical ] - Chad has listed other cars for this seller over the years. He can tell you first hand how meticulous he is about his vehicles. He has had everything done professionally on his car, and is very fussy about it. He is not aware of anything that is not working correctly on the car., The last group of photos shows where the vin plate was permanently attached to the door jam. When the seller purchased this car, the original vin plate was not attached (we requested he affix it to the car)., Note: The seller had a Dyno sheet that showed over 630 H.P. Also the car has no odometer, speedometer, horn, or center rear view mirror - and the true mileage unknown.,, [ Test Drive ] - Chad rode in the car with the owner. He felt the steering was responsive and the car seems to run properly, as it was designed. They did not drive anything close to maximum power, but this Camaro is still pretty unbelievable. It is a very high quality piece of machinery.,, Equipment: • 454 c.i. + .090 over GM block (630+ HP per Dyno), • Aluminum heads, • 1050 CFM dominator carb, • Dart intake, • Tilt wheel, • 15 gallon custom fuel cell, • Altima battery, • Barry Grant fuel pump, • 4.56 gears, • Fresh valve springs, • New custom carpet, • Custom ordered leather seats,,, We are representing this Camaro for a private seller.
