For sale is a very groovy car a 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible. The car is on consignment with us in our St. Louis showroom. The exterior shows well in a bright gold paint which goes nicely with the tan vinyl interior. The Beetle is powered by a 4-spd manual transmission and 1600 CC engine. The engine was rebuilt in January of 2011. The beige convertible top is manual and has a very nice convertible boot black in color. The odometer shows 72208 and is believed to be original but the mileage is undocumented. Options include: radio cassette convertible top seat belts vinyl interior and radial tires. New in 1974 the steering knuckle and consequently the lower attachment point of the strut was redesigned to improve handling and stability in the event of a tire blowout.
