This car was built using the best components available with an emphasis on period correctness. The drivetrain is built around a 1965 Ford 427 medium riser "Side Oiler" with 8 Webber Carbs and an Inglese Induction. Built by Bacas Racing Engines,this particular 427 has been Balanced & Blueprinted and internals include a Nitrited Forged Steel Forged Crankshaft. J & E 12:1 Pistons and a Crower cam with .556 lift. Holman Moody heads, Ported and Polished with Titanium valves and Aluminum Roller Rockers. The transmission is a NASCAR. spec Top Loader 4 speed manual with a large input shaft. Centerforce clutch and Scatter Shield. Exhaust is a custom setup with Powder Coated side pipes. Estimated power is close to 600HP at 6700 RPM. The chassis is a full tube steel gusseted frame with a Jaguar XKE front and rear suspension upgraded with KONI adjustable shocks. the car rides on 15" Halibrand Knockoffs.
