1968 BUICK GRAN SPORT 400, For sale is a 1968 Buick GS which I've owned for several years. I believe that I am the 3rd owner of the car. I purchased the car from a gentleman in Illinois, who said his grandfather was the original owner. I bought the car with body work complete, and painted. The previous owner had to sell the car before finishing. I finished the car by installing a vinyl top, new front seat cover, new front windsheild, removed and reinstalled the rear window, and having a new dual exhaust system installed. The car shows very well, and gets looks and complements every where it goes. The paint shines great, and the interior is beautiful. I feel comfortable showing the car next to $30k to $40k muscle cars and street rods. I was told when I purchased the car that it has the original motor and trans in it. I never got around to documenting the car. I believe the number is behind the water pump. This car is a true muscle car. No money was spent on the fru-fru accessaries back in 1968. It has no A/C, no power brakes or disk brakes, and no FM radio. The car was built to go fast, not stop fast. The car does run and drive great, the motor hums, and the original AM radio works. The motor has not been rebuilt. I don't now how any times the odometer has turned passed 99,999, but by the way it runs, I think it has 105,367 miles. My family and I will miss this car, but I have to make room for another project of mine that has been idle for years. Best to call on my cell phone, 941-809-2802.
