1973 PONTIAC TRANS AM, This awesome Firebird is one of just only 4,802 Trans Ams built for 1973. 73 had an exclusive, one-year-only split egg crate grill that would be replaced in 74 with the full length bumper that would carry on till 1981. It is also the first year for the optional, and now-famous, Screaming Chicken on the hood, which is blue on this car. Under the Eagle is the factory original 455 Big Block with Numbers Matching block and original heads. The engine, transmission, and rear end have all been recently professionally rebuilt at a cost well in excess of $10,000. The engine was balanced and received power upgrades that include a performance cam, rebuilt carb., new exhaust etc. Factory options include extremely rare Air Conditioning, power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, Soft Ray tinted glass, AM Radio, 8-Trac cassette player, and the aforementioned Eagle decal on the hood. Included is a file of receipts, the original manuals, and the complete Pontiac Historical Society paperwork. This is a must-see Trans Am.. This vehicle has a 455cid V8 engine and an automatic transmission.
