1962 CHEVROLET C10, Restored: 2005 1962 Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck This is not your Grandpa's old truck! Well...it could be, but Grandpa never drove one quite this nice. This frame-off, highly restored truck is one you can proudly show and likely take home a first place prize. This truck is extremely clean. Whether you like to make an impression on the street, or just want to experience the nostalgic feeling of having a stylish older truck, this grocery hauler will not dissappoint. Don't let this truck pass you by. She is a beauty. Interior... Vehicle Options / Features: Air (Add On), AM/FM CD Player, Disc Brakes, Dual Exhaust, Fuel Injected, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Rear Defrost,Rear Instruments, Seat Belts, Spare Tire,Tachometer, More Details Body, Paint and Bright work White top, turquoise body. GM nos aluminum and stainless ?custom? trim Interior Condition: Leather color showing some wear but it?s still in great shape Mechanical Details: LT1 engine came from a 95 Roadmaster that had been rear ended with 40k miles. ECM and wiring harness were customized by Fuel Injection Specialties, San Antonio, TX. Power steering, power brakes, IDIDIT GM tilt column, custom wheel to match Centerline Wheels. New black carpet. AC will freeze you out. Tranny has only 5k miles. Rear end is Nova. Rhino Liner in bed is applied over stainless and red oak that I got tired of maintaining. Tailgate parts are stainless. Lokar push button shifter. History: This is a one family truck purchased by my grandfather in San Antonio, Texas in 1962. Given to me on it?s way to the junk yard after he died. I have all pictures of my restoration. I did it twice and know every nut and bolt in this truck. Restoration Process or Other Special Features or Comments: The first time I restored this truck I kept it original except for the paint color, the rear end, and the shifter, which I put on the floor. I next put in a 283 and a 700 R4, but upon the second restoration I went with the LT1 fuel injected motor and the L460E tranny, the power disc brakes, AC, power steering, etc. I also put the custom trim on it, NOS side steps, and the 60 dual headlights and grille?much cooler look than the 62.
