1964 PONTIAC CATALINA 2+2, Just arrived Atlanta Collector Car Showroom. Complete photos posted shortly. Exterior paint finished in Grenadier Red complimented by a Black vinyl interior with a White vinyl convertible top. Features include: 389 C.I. 4 Brl. V-8 engine with dual exhaust, Power steering, Power brakes, Automatic transmission, Power top with black vinyl boot cover, A/C, Bucket seats & center console shift, Driver side fender mounted remote control mirror, Console mount factory vacuum, Factory am-fm radio, Clock, Lamp group, Deluxe steering wheel, Seat belts, Front & rear Pontiac script rubber, floor mats, Custom wheel disc covers with spinners, White stripe radial tires, Spare tire with cover & jack, Pontiac Historical Society Documentation includes copy of build sheet & original window sticker. Extensive restoration to original stock condition. Engine & transmission have all been rebuilt. Front end, rear suspension, & complete brake system rebuild. Interior restoration includes all new seat covers, dashboard, carpet, wood inserts, & instrument cluster rebuild. Convertible top, liner & pads have all been replaced and are in excellent condition. The trunk has been stripped, sand blasted & refinished with new spatter paint & correct factory trunk mat material. Engine compartment is neat & tidy featuring a chrome air cleaner & valve covers. Rebuilt radiator with purge tank added. We have all the original receipts to document restoration work. Car drives smooth & tight. Plenty of romp from the big & powerful 389 C.I. V-8. In 1964 the GTO appeared on the automotive scene. At the same time, Pontiac decided they must offer a larger size muscle car; henceforth the Catalina 2+2 was born.
