This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 with a 454 CID engine is for sale in our Louisville Kentucky showroom. This 2 dr post Chevelle 300 screams sleeper well it definitely screams! At 1st glance the unassuming Mountain Green paint with matching steel wheels and the original dog dish hubcaps gives no indication of what is lurking under the hood. Stuffed under the hood is a freshly rebuilt 454 engine (finished February 2014) and backed by a brand new Performance Automatic 700R4 this Chevelle 300 is ready to roll up anybody that gets in its way. To keep the beastly 454 running cool an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans has been installed. The exhaust gases from the aluminum headed 454 are sent through a pair of Hooker ceramic coated headers. The engine has been dressed up with a polished March serpentine engine accessories kit. The rear end is an upgraded 12 bolt posi unit with a Richmond carrier 3.42 Auburn gears and bearings. In 2012 this Chevelle 300 was treated to a Rotisserie restoration that included new floor pans and rear body panels. The front suspension has been rebuilt with O.E. bushings ball joints new tie rods and new springs. The braking system has been upgraded to a 4 wheel power disc brake system. To keep things cool while blasting down the highway a Vintage Air Compact Gen II AC system has been installed. To keep with the "??Sleeper"? look the interior has been kept simple with black vinyl bench seats an automatic column shifter and the AM/FM radio with CD player has been neatly tucked into the glove box. This beautiful "??67 Chevelle 300 has other nice little touches that include a smoothed firewall new steering box remanufactured power steering pump and original bumpers/door hardware that has been re-chromed.
