--Fathom Green with White Stripes with Black interior and carpeting, 302 Cu. In. V8 engine, 4-speed manual, Numbers Matching, 35,000 original miles, Restored, as per Appraisal-Certificate of Authenticity by Nickey Chicago, Inc…"This Z28 is a "benchmark" restoration, it is better than a number one condition trailered show car. lt is the standard from which other Z28 restorations can be judged!" Factory options include: Floor Mats 2 Front & 2 Rear, Center Console, Positraction Axle Ration 3.73, Power Disc Brakes, 4-speed Close Ration Transmission, Special Instrumentation, AM Push Button Radio, Special Interior Group, Special Performance Equipment. Black Vinyl trim and Fathom Green exterior color were no cost options. This Z28 VIN # 124379N645735 is complete with its Original window sticker, Chassis broadcast sheet, Body broadcast sheet, Original sales contract to its first owner, Judging sheet and Appraisal from Nickey Chicago. This Z28 was parked in 1976 with only 35,000 original miles on the odometer. In 2011 it underwent a complete restoration when in the ownership of Tommy Mathison, Menominee, Wisconsin. Shortly after its restoration it achieved 999/1000 points at the 2012 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago. It has its original drivetrain, a DZ 302 with M21 transmission and 3.73 Positraction rear and still shows only 35,000 original miles on the odometer. A CD with over 400 photographs documenting the completed restoration is included. Since purchase by its most recent collector owner, it was decided to make this Camaro as good and reliable a street car as it has been a show car. The sum of $25,000 was spent making specific changes that can be easily reversed and thus dial all in properly for street use. The original bias ply tires with wheels and period wheel weights were removed and wrapped in plastic. Period replacement wheels (not reproductions) were purchased and painted OEM colors (black with argent silver outside). Michelin radials were mounted, all markings were removed from the sidewall to produce a smooth blackwall. Period Koni shocks were installed to improve the ride. The original motor mounts that have a flawed design were replaced for safety, as were the 45 year old U-joints, the brake booster was also replaced. All parts that have been removed have been boxed and along with the original wheels and tires will be supplied with the car. 3M clear vinyl was tastefully applied low on the fenders immediately behind the wheels and full length below the rocker panel trim to protect the paint from the road/rock chips. Simply put, this Z28 Camaro on offer is simply second to none. Please see the following website link for a 443 photo album... Price: $150,000
