Ultra Rare Ram Air IV GTO, in Special Order Starlight Black with Blue Slate Interior. 4,250 Actual Miles! Only 140 RA IV Hard Tops were Produced in 1970 with the Heavy Duty M40 Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission (Total RA IV Production @ 804 Units). This is a Full Numbers Matching Example with a Remarkable History. This was an Early Year Production vehicle that was Sold to Nib Johnston Pontiac-Buick-GMC in Courtenay, B.C., Canada in February 1970. Nib Johnston campaigned this GTO for One Year in the NHRA F/SA Classification, and then utilized it as a Dealership Marketing Vehicle for the next Twenty Years. During it's brief Racing Campaign, this RA IV recorded its Best E.T. at 12.57 Seconds at 112.07 MPH on May 17, 1970. This Outstanding Pontiac Collectible has gone through a Concours Rotisserie Restoration, and received the coveted Gold Award, at the Pontiac Oakland Club International event in July '07.
