Just in ...not s speck of rust underneath, a small patch of rust on one rocker (easily repaired or replaced, VERY good interor (in black with white piping) which appears to be original (can it be? Dunno. Hard to 'fake' old leather and a buyer has to make his own assessment BUT I think there is an excellent chance it is original....and if so, the 25,000 miles on the odometer COULD be accurate), excellent dash with all working original gauges, recently rebuilt original high compression 1622cc engne, complete with top, side curtains, tonneau, and original side curtain bag, wire wheels, excellent chrome, very clean engine bay, new master cylinder, rebuilt brakes, new rotors, new clutch hydraulics, all in all, a very good car. Ready for use (with a bit of paint touch up) or an easy respray and ready for low key shows. Came in with its original tool roll (and all original tools), original engine crank, original spare wheel clamp and wing nut, our tests 150 psi compression in every cylinder (didn't vary by even a single pound), 60-65 psi oil pressure, zero smoke. Wiring harness is original and in incredibly good condition....the excellent original cotton wiring loom covering is another significant indication of extemely low mileage. All gauges and lights work properly, as does the heater, wipers, horn, handbrake, etc. Brand new (premium) Michelin tires, factory oil cooler, wheels appear to be new, the list continues . With a respray and some very minor detailing, one can have a sensational, amazingly original MGA Mk II. Been driving this car around the neighborhood, for the past few days, and it is really interesting how it feels close to 'as new,' Superb ride, precise steering, flexible engine performance, near silent in 1st gear, excellent sychromesh action, not the slightest rattle, the overall 'feel ' of a super low mileage car.
