A beautifully restored car, one of the best we have ever seen. Read on (photos are at 95Oinished....done in a few days and then....more photos) Mint body, straight as the proverbial arrow, show quality deep blue paint, complete chrome bumper conversion with all new chrome, grille, hardware, brackets, sheet metal, lights, etc. Rebuilt engine, converted to twin SUs, rebuilt transmission with overdrive, new chrome wire wheels, lowered to pre 1975 ride height, and this list continues .... Interior, all custom done in gray leather, wood dashboard, wood steering wheel, stereo/CD, new black top, and custom made gray boot cover. As elegant a color combination as one can imagine with the entire 'look' being of a more expensive, more sophisticated car. Deep blue carpets, even deep blue trunk carpets and spare wheel cover. And the rest? Excellent wiring and electrics, nicely detailed engine bay, electronic ignition, high output radiator cooling fan, perfect floor pan and inner sills, runs and drives like new. Which is just as well 'cause it LOOKS like a new car. As mentioned in notes on other cars on our site, these 'hybrid' MGB conversions are really the best of the old and the best of the new in MGBs. After all, an MGB IS a wonderful starting point....all welded monocoque body/chassis, lines that have survived the past 50+ years quite nicely, roomy, comfortable, smooth drivelines with ample power, sweet shifting transmissions, in this car's case, with overdrive giving six forward ratios, power front disc brakes, great steering and handling, comfortable ride, rattle free. All in all, a wonderful usable classic. Reliable, econiomical, and fun to drive and with contemporary performance. Lets face it, modern sports and GT cars quiet, smooth, responsive, and awfully fast. But speeds above 85-90 mph are a dandy way to loose one's license or wind up on jail. Truth is, in a 200 mile competition, a new Ferrari or Turbo Porsche will not get to the destination much quicker than this MGB which will cruise at 80-90mph all day. BUT....in the MGB, the drive will probably be more fun. These are great classics and this blue MGB is one of the best. To be done VERY soon. Price: $23,500
