Memory lane, here we come! This handsome looking 1950 Custom convertible exudes class with lots of eye appeal. Getting behind the wheel of this beauty is like putting on a piece of jewelry. This rare example has just been completely restored in the past 2 years. The exterior body was extremely solid after being stripped down the bare metal. The car was completely disassembled. Front nose, doors, trunk lid and the chrome was replaced or refurbished. Grille restored stainless, bright work, door handles, gaskets, weather strip, org. trunk hinges, front and rear bumper guards, orig. door locks that work with orig. style keys. Beautiful mirror finish exterior Sunland Beige with no flaws, waves or issues in the paint. Super straight exterior body panels, proper alignment to the doors, hood and rear trunk lid. Brand new black cloth convertible power top that works (with boot). New Firestone 7:10x15 WW bias ply wide white wall tires. Complete new brake system, new inner and outer wheel bearings, new seals include, rear main, steering box, all new wheel cylinders, new drive shaft and U-joints, complete new power top, new power top lines and pistons, all new fittings, nicely detailed through out. Saddle brown Lebaron Bonney leather that was done in the late 80s. Refinished instrument cluster, factory radio works fine. This highly detailed collectible early Ford custom convertible has a rock solid original body and under carriage. New shocks, Hush mat insulation under the carpeting, brilliant chrome, trim and glass. Investment grade, exceptionally nice. flathead V8 engine runs smooth, overdrive works nicely.
