Totally restored!!! This Satelite has had a makeover, including the engine bay, firewall and door jambs. They look as beautiful on the inside as the car does on the outside! Slight color change from maroon to a vibrant Cherry popping red...Now, this car definitely stands out. We love referrals, and through a recent referral, this Plymouth Satellite was found in upstate NY from a private estate. Originally a 318 V8, updated back in the late 70s to an early 70s, 426 Hemi engine cast #2468330-2, purchased over the counter from the Chrysler dealer with the service replacement block with no or vin # stamped on the side of the block. Factory cast intake with 2x4s Carter AFB carbs list #s 41395 and 43435 dated C8 & D7. Dual point dist., with vacuum advance, factory exhaust cast iron manifolds, correct fuel lines and lineage set up. Runs extremely well, idles great, no hesitation to this mighty beast. Correct wrinkle finish valve covers, chrome air cleaner element, early Mopar 4 row radiator part #1904809 dated "HO" Aug., 1960 which would have been in a 1961 car. 727 Torque Flite trans., from a 1969 Dodge Charger with Vin # stamped on the side case XP29H9.... 8 3/4 rear with 4.10 Sure Grip, Lakewood traction bars, HD Hemi suspension, rear springs, rear shock with helper springs. This old school Mopar has al the right stuff. The body is very straight, no waves or unaligned doors or trunk lid. It appears to have all its original sheet metal. Magnet sticks down low all the way around. Very minimal body work on the very lower section of both rear quarters. Inner lower quarter extensions have had minimal repair as well. The bright work, stainless and trim are all excellent. Front grille, headlight surrounds, rear tail light bezels, side trim, rear quarter trim, door handles, front and rear bumpers are restored and are in A-1 condition. Both drivers and passengers side mirrors appear to be N.O.S. as well as most of the pot metal on this car. Doors and trunk lock with a key. The previous owner was a Chrysler mechanic for 40 yrs. and it shows on this Satellite. Looking underneath the car, we noticed it is very solid with all the orig. floor and trunk pans, solid uni-body, torque boxes as well as the floor braces and inner rockers. This car is pretty much an original car underneath with a slight factory under coating. Orig. gas tank, new 2 1/2 exhaust with stock OEM style mufflers. Ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, center link, Pitman arm and sway bar links are all tight. Manual steering, manual brakes, vintage 15" Cragar SS wheels with P275/60 R15" Yoko Hama black wall radials in the rear and 14" P205/75 R14"s up front. It's all great looking good on the outside of this Hemi...inside, rock out to the tunes with the Sony am/fm cassette sound system. 2 Yamaha power amps YPA-1000 and YPA 700, 1700watts total. 2 14" sub woofers with a Sony XEC-1000 electronic crossover panel in the trunk area. New SS Cragar Mag wheel, jack and spare tire cover and carpet though out the car. Check out the old school tuck and rolled interior. Seats, door panels, carpet, headliner, rear pkg. tray are all excellent. 1971 Plymouth steering wheel, center console and inside hood release was added in. Push button heater, defroster. Mopar performance tach neatly installed on the steering column, gauges neatly installed in the dash under the radio. Brilliant plastic chrome through out the interior. Orig. door hardware, new window felts, orig. glass, except for replacement shaded windshield. (A really nice spare set of orig. side glass are included.) Original back seat is in excellent, unrestored condition. This car certainly brings back memories...Mopar fans can really appreciate this really "old school" driver. Comes with a NY transferrable registration from previous owner. Beautiful! Price: $37,900
