We are offering this 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster to all of you Corvette lovers out there! Original Daytona Blue on Saddle, this rare example is equipped with a #;s matching 327/340hp 4spd., alum trans., 3.70 Posi traction axle. this 2nd generation C-2 Corvette was introduced as the Stingray from 1963-67. This 63 Corvette roadster has never been advertised before. A complete frame off restoration in 2003-2005. The car was restored in the Binghamton NY area by a professional auto restorer that was involved in the NCRS chapter in his area. The body of the car was placed on a jig to hold the fiberglass body in place, the doors were removed, hood, chrome bumpers, trim, windshield, motor and trans. During the restoration the #'s matching engine and trans were rebuilt, all new front end components, springs, shocks, ball joints, tie rod ends, center link, pitman arm, upper and lower control arm bushings, new brakes wheel cylinders, brake linings, brake hoses, e-brake system, drums turned, new wheel bearings, axle bushings, CV joints, spring bushings, trailing arm bushings, and reconditioned gas tank. Beautiful frame refinished in GM satin black finish. Natural fiberglass floors, correctly restored under carriage through out. Spare tire carrier with orig. spare tire, orig. style jack stowed away in the interior storage compartment. this C-2 Stingray has a beautifully restored original body, correct bonding stripes, and proper alignment to al the panels. It appears to have a no hit body with perfectly closing doors just with the touch of your finger. Brilliant Dayton Blue exterior Lacquer paint finish with only minor crack and one tiny chip on the drivers side headlight bucket. Super straight body with a wet high gloss finish, beautifully restored door and hood jambs, restored hard top handsomely restored inside and out, brand new tan convertible soft top, new weather strip, EZ eye original shaded windshield, orig. date coded side door glass and vent window glass, new window vent rubbers, window felts, completely new show quality triple plated chrome bumpers, new tail light housings, tail lenses, emblems, orig. bright work and stainless. Reproduction K.O. wheels, side exhaust with WSW radial tires. Examine the interior, you'll find it's completely restored. New Al Knocks interior, new carpet, door panels, door hardware, dash pads and glove box door panel are original. New seat foam surrounded in soft, leather seats. Complete set of restored instrument cluster, refaced, re calibrated, quartz clock, restore am/fm radio. Orig. style reproduction seat belts, instrument bezels, interior trim, and pillar posts are all refurbished and look fantastic all running under the power of the factory pencil shifter with reverse lock out. Interior lights, gauges, clock, radio, wipers, heater all work fine as well as the rare power window option. Nice clean engine bay with all the correct dated components under the hood. Manual steering, manual brakes, and only the exhaust manifolds need to be refinished due to the age of the last restoration. Correct dated radiator, overflow canister, alternator with deep groove pulley, 340hp Idler pulley bracket, correct Carter carb., correct alum 340hp intake, dist., exhaust manifolds, and AC fuel filter. The car runs extremely well and performs like a true 340hp car. Considered a very correct #'s matching car restored approx. 9 yrs ago, however, only driven sparingly and still shows like a fresh restoration. Stored in a climate controlled environment. Investment grade #2 condition Stingray. This car comes with an original Owner's Manual, complete file of photos taken of the restoration and spare set of original keys. Price: $61,500
