The transition from the fifties to the sixties netted us some really sleek and sophisticated designs from the Big 3. Ford really put allot of detail into their full size offerings, especially the Galaxie. The Sunliner convertible you see here is a terrific example of what was being offered in the Galaxie line up. It is in great shape with nice red paint, lots of trim, and chrome. Notice the subtle fins running the length of the rear quarters and finished off with jet inspired tail lights. Power comes from a highly detailed 352 V-8 with an automatic transmission, 4 barrel carburetor, and dual exhaust. The motor compartment is beautiful with the big oval air cleaner in chrome to go with the chrome valve covers. It also has power steering and high performance cross drilled/slotted power front disc brakes were added. The immaculate chassis is totally show quality with red oxide primer, new gas tank, new exhaust, and highly detailed hardware. It looks amazing riding on 17 inch radial tires, mounted on custom retro looking wheels, and gas shocks. The ride and handling are top notch. The interior has custom door panels, cloth/vinyl combo seat covers, original steering wheel, new carpet, snap on boot, covered by a power operated top.
