It has all of its documentation from its original purchaser - including the warranty card. It has been a Florida car its entire life, and it shows. If you want the best example of an ‘80s Monte Carlo, you want this car. It"s black, has T-tops, and has the rare two-year-only magnesium wheels, too. You"re sure to get looks and thumbs up wherever you go in this black beauty. The engine is not original to the car, but in this case, that"s a good thing. Gone is the boat-anchor 305 and in its place sits a 4-bolt main 350 cubic inch V8 that produces a conservatively estimated 375 horsepower. Everything in this engine is new, from the crankshaft to the carburetor, and all of the internals. A book of receipts will go with the car to the new owner. The engine has an Edelbrock aluminum intake, a Holley Street Avenger carb, Accel distributor, and exhaust headers with a true dual exhaust setup to give you an amazing sound. Listen to the video - you won"t be disappointed. Behind the powerplant is a rebuilt 200R4 automatic that is shifted from the floor. It has been built to handle the power by a local shop not too far from Blue Marlin Motors. The AC system, even the compressor, is 100 ew, there"s a new starter and alternator, and much much more. If it could be replaced or improved, it probably has been on this Monte. The cloth interior has been reupholstered in a fantastic burgundy vinyl, and extra padding was added to the seats. They are supportive, yet comfortable. You won"t sit in another Monte Carlo like this anytime soon, we assure you. You would be hard-pressed to find a nicer example than this.
