The Cadillac Allante took center stage in the automotive universe during the late 1980s. Designed by Italian design firm Pininfarina, who penned some of the most famous Ferraris of all time, the Allante was a radical departure for Cadillac and was well received by critics and the general public alike. Underbodies and components were flown to Turin, Italy, where the body was attached to the assembly, then painted in a special facility created just for the Allante. The cars were then flown back to Detroit where Cadillac installed the engine and drive train. The ''Allante Airbridge'' was considered the longest assembly line in the world! Like most high end automobiles, Allante production was quite low, making it rare and exclusive, then and even more so now. Art & Speed is proud to offer this stunning, investment grade Allante convertible. With less than 45,500 original miles, it represents the pinnacle of Allante evolution and includes the original 4.6L Northstar, 32 valve V8 with over 270 horsepower and smooth shifting 4T80E four speed automatic transmission. This pristine example is Opaque White with red leather and black top, making this particular car even more rare and desirable. Only 856 Opaque White (9879 code) Allantes were produced over it's entire run of seven years. This outstanding convertible rides on chrome plated Cadillac aluminum 16 in wheels matched to a like new set of Bridgestone radials. An Italian body by Pininfarina with Detroit muscle and luxury to boot! An absolutely tasteful and enjoyable driving experience. An investment grade example. Don't miss out on this unique piece of automotive history. For more information, call Art & Speed Classic Car Gallery at . Price: $19,900
