This 1984 Jeep CJ7 Laredo has a great look and great options, including a five-speed, power steering and power disc brakes. It saw a frame-off restoration in 2007 and it has held up very well since. Driver-quality paint is an attractive dark grey metallic; trim, fender flares and the Bestop soft top are in excellent condition. It has the correct Laredo graphics package for 1984. BF Goodrich 33x12.50 mud terrain tires on silver Jeep wagon wheels have plenty of tread left. The underside is solid with no known rust issues. Like any CJ, the interior is all business. Rugged Ridge front seats show as new; there is a locking Tuffy center console between the front seats and additional locking storage on either side of the rear bench seat. Three-point seat belts are mounted to the roll bar, and an AM/FM/CD stereo is mounted in the center console. Integrated speaker boxes are installed at the base of the roll bar on either side. Floors have been fully rhino-lined. Under the hood is AMC's 258 cubic inch (4.2 liter) straight six mated to a desirable five-speed manual transmission. The engine has seen some choice upgrades, including a Motorcraft 2100 carb, DUI distributor and electric fans. Clutch and wiring harness were replaced in 2007. This Jeep starts and runs very well, and it drives great thanks to power steering and power disc brakes. In short, it's a turn-key example with a great look that needs nothing except to be enjoyed by its next owner.
