All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. Want to have fun in a street rod? This 1936 Ford pickup combines great looks and proven reliability into a fun-to-drive package that won't break the bank. It has accumulated 5,600 miles since construction - high enough to work all the bugs out, yet low enough to keep wear to a minimum. This truck was built with a solid original steel body and frame. Of course the body mount blocks and welting are all new. The fiberglass fenders are in excellent shape without any cracking. The hinged hood and/or side panels can be removed to change the look to your preference. The rear is very clean and includes a full width LED brake light. The doors were converted to rear hinged "suicide" type with deadbolts. The exterior door handles were shaved; there are openers on a remote keyfob along with one hidden opener on the truck. The bed includes a nice storage box that also contains the battery and a cutoff switch. Finally, the brilliant red paint really makes this truck pop, it's a huge attention getter as you drive down the road. Power comes from a nice 350 ci Chevy motor. Highlights include an Edelbrock intake, Holley 4-barrel carburetor, and HEI ignition. The radiator has a thermostatically controlled electric fan, and the headers and dual exhaust have a nice hot rod sound without being obnoxious. The transmission is a TH350 automatic transmission while the rear end is a Ford 8" assembly. This is a solid dependable drivetrain, and is plenty fast given the light weight of the truck. The front suspension is a Mustang 2 setup with disc brakes, while in back are leaf springs and drum brakes. There is also power steering so it is very easy to maneuver. The BF Goodrich tires (195 front, 235 rear) and Billet Specialties wheels are all in great condition. The interior is very nicely done and has a sharp, clean look. The bench seat is surprisingly comfortable and the tilt steering column can accommodate most drivers. The pedals are nicely positioned and easy to operate (unlike some other street rods). There is a full set of working gauges on the dashboard along with a nice Jensen stereo and power outlet. The banjo style steering wheel looks great as well. There are also power windows and a heater, along with a windshield wiper and parking brake. I think this Ford has a lot to offer. It is a complete build and a style you don't see every day. And while some street rods sell for twice the price, they won't deliver half the fun (or miles) as this one. Price: $27,500
