For sale in our Detroit showroom is a 1982 Chevrolet Corvette with 63721 original miles. 1982 was the first full production year for the Corvette in its new birth place of Bowling Green Kentucky. Also unique to the Corvette in \82 was a new automatic transmission four speed with overdrive utilizing a higher first gear ratio for acceleration. A manual transmission was not available for the first time since the original generation C1 Corvette. The L83 350ci small block featured Cross-Fire-Injection for the first time combining two injectors and a computer capable of making 80 adjustments per second.
