The basic formula for a show-stopping resto-mod is simple: start with a popular muscle car and add high quality modern components until every compromise has been eliminated. Of course perfecting that formula takes a rare combination of time talent and vision and this stunning Charger 500 is one of the lucky classics backed by all three. The beneficiary of a professional ground-up restoration this brutal road warrior is a no-holds-barred custom that's ready to parade the show field and dominate the stoplight. Every piece of the car has been carefully crafted with equal emphasis on performance and aesthetics. And if you're looking for an exhilarating way to enjoy a sunny summer weekend its Street Wedge V8 Tremec 5-speed and Ridetech suspension are all happy to oblige! After spending most of its life as a blue-collar driver this awesome Charger was the perfect starting point for an outrageous ground-up restoration that mixed a killer Indy big block with classic Mopar attitude. The car's exceptionally solid body was stripped to bare metal and fitted with high quality replacement panels that thanks to a thorough block-sanding form a virtually flawless profile. Once that profile was completely clean and fully prepped deep PPG Black was detailed with red war paint and sealed under a silky clearcoat. And the result is a positively evil muscle car that tempers an old school no-nonsense demeanor with new age panache! There's just something about a broad-shouldered Dodge that appeals to pretty much everyone. Whether it's 'wow factor' a sense of strength or simple surface detailing this coupe's hard-edged modernist panels convey classic Chrysler charm via clean and monochromatic aesthetics. At the front of the car a prominent body-width grille hangs a sporty ''SRT8'' emblem inside hidden headlights amber parking lamps and bright chrome trim. Above that grille a scalloped hood leads the eye to like-new glass shaved wipers and bright stainless trim. At the sides of that hood a faceted profile hangs shaved doors and clean fenders in front of a bright 'pit stop' fuel filler. And at the back of the car wide tail lights frame a second ''SRT8'' emblem a second body-width bumper and bright reverse lamps. What do you do when you have a sweet Mopar muscle car that needs a heart transplant? You call the fine folks at Indy Cylinder Head and order something akin to this Charger's 500 cubic inch Street Wedge V8! Thanks to its balanced rotating assembly Eagle 4340 crank Eagle H-beam rods Comp hydraulic cam and Wiseco 10.75 to 1 pistons this Dodge moves to the tune of 630 horsepower and 575 lb./ft. of torque. At the top of the brand new block a K&N X-Stream air cleaner forces wind into an 850 Holley carburetor and dual-plane Indy intake. At the sides of that intake Indy 440-EZ-1 heads hang high quality roller rockers and slick aluminum valve covers over impressive long-tube headers. At the front of those headers an MSD Pro-Billet distributor sequences spark between an MSD Blaster 2 coil MSD 6AL ignition and black Taylor plug wires. At the front of those wires a polished serpentine system rides behind a big aluminum radiator and two Flex-a-Lite puller fans. And aesthetically the Hemi Orange mill provides an excellent contrast to the car's sleek Black fenders; with details like a fresh Optima battery snazzy Fesler hinges a Wilwood master cylinder and a proven Melling oil pump cementing its status as a well-blended piece of timeless mechanical art. Like its slick exterior and clean engine bay the bottom of this Dodge is a great combination of both past and present. Behind the powerful Indy a new Tremec TKO600 5-speed which wears a sturdy QuickTime bellhousing twists thrust to a rugged Chrysler rear end. Inside that pumpkin a familiar Sure Grip differential spins around beefy 3.91 gears. That awesome drivetrain rides on an independent front and triangulated rear suspension which mixes modern power steering with Ridetech StrongArm control arms and a Ridetech RidePro air system. Stops come courtesy of Wilwood which utilizes bright red calipers to squeeze four drilled and slotted rotors. The aforementioned headers push charred dinosaurs through 3-inch pipes and great sounding Flowmasters. And power hits the pavement via gorgeous Billet Specialties 5-spokes which spin 225/45ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As in front of 285/40ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As. This coupe's frame and floors are rock-solid displaying no signs of rust or serious weathering. Yes in typical Mopar fashion those floors are over-restored to match the car's sinister body. And everything from its fresh fuel tank and Milodon oil pan to its spotless fluid lines and RobbMc mini starter is fully sorted and ready to roll! Swivel this Charger's solid-closing doors and you'll find a substantially modified interior that's mixes classy tan leather with textured black vinyl. The front bucket and rear bench seats are covered in showroom-fresh hides that display small ''SRT'' logos. Below those seats premium carpet centers color-keyed mats on a billet accelerator pedal and pristine stainless sills. At the sides of that carpet sculpted doors anchor Clayton hardware and 5.25-inch speakers below ''Charger'' branded frames. In front of those panels a clean dash hangs white-face telemetry and a prominent ''SRT DESIGN'' badge above a 7-inch Kenwood head unit. Below that dash a custom console centers a Hurst Pistol Grip shifter inside a stylish driver-oriented contour. In front of the driver a Billet Specialties Outlaw spins around a polished tilt steering column. And behind the passengers a custom package tray founds two 5x7 speakers over two JL Audio amplifiers and two JL Audio subwoofers This incredible Charger's sale includes a cam card component manuals and specs for its brand new Indy engine. The resto-mod mindset is all about replacing traditional compromise with modern capability. With its fresh V8 quick-shifting 5-speed and thoroughly upgraded suspension this Dodge annihilates any complaints regarding performance or cruising. And the addition of air conditioning a modern sound system and custom leather trimmings merely sweetens the deal. Built for the most discerning muscle car fans on the planet this Charger is the perfect opportunity to bask in the spoils of owning a fresh world class classic. And all without endless vendor calls waiting on fab guys hassling bankers and dealing with a disgruntled spouse. Don't miss the chance to park this coupe in your garage! Price: $139,900
