These second-generation trucks are an improvement over the previous generation with a coil spring rear suspension that offers an improved ride quality over the more traditional and common leaf spring setup. While all Chevrolet trucks of this style came standard with independent front suspension the GMC models came standard with leaf springs with this particular truck being equipped with the optional IFS for a smoother ride. Formerly a drag truck it now has a nice 350 motor backed by a 400 automatic transmission with a B&M shifter to make it a more streetable cruiser. Despite the aggressive look the drivetrain only has 50 miles on it since being rebuilt so you can cruise in comfort knowing that this truck is ready for the street the track or your local classic car show! This clean GMC has been lowered 5 inches and with a ladder bar rear suspension and front disk brakes you could drive this truck to work every day if you wanted to!
