For sale in our Detroit showroom is this spectacular 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. These second-generation Tri Five Chevys are popular choices of collectors as it is one of the most recognizable and sought after American cars ever produced. The Bel Air was offered in many different styles in such as a 2-door 4-door convertible and even a station wagon known as the Nomad. Starting with the massive chromed front bumper and following the trim to the rear of the car are the wild tail fins that the cars of the 50s were known for. Beneath those iconic tail fins that the Bel Air was known for is a cool custom touch in the form of a bumper from a 57 Nomad. This car received a frame-off restoration 10 years ago and the shiny black paint still looks great out in the sunlight! It looks just as good underneath as it does on the outside as the frame has been powdercoated to preserve its finish. Underneath the louvered hood is a professionally-built 383 stroker motor bored 0.30 over topped with a Edelbrock 750 carb cranking out approximately 400-450 horsepower! Performance accessories including a 400 crank Roller Cam Air Flow Research heads and Hooker Headers. All that power goes through a 4-speed manual transmission with a floor-mounted Hurst competition shifter ending up at the Ford 9-inch rear end with a Detroit locker supported by a 4-link suspension with coilover shocks. Options on this appealing classic include: AM/FM radio CD player power steering tilt wheel vinyl interior radial tires and racing wheels. To get this beauty in your garage visit our Detroit showroom or call us at for more information. To view HD pictures and video find us on the web at for more details. Price: $63,995
