--Red with Black leather interior, Black carpeting and Black convertible top, 9,500 miles from new!, 5-speed manual, the only year of the single “flying mirror.' This Testarossa is 1 of 12 Ferrari Testarossa's converted by Richard Straman. Straman"s workmanship is considered superb in every way and on par with many factory exotic convertibles of the day. During this TR"s conversion to convertible, the TR"s body was strengthened properly and appropriately to ensure the conversion would not compromise the structural integrity of the car. This TR was originally commissioned in 1990 by Ken Behring, founder of the Blackhawk Museum. Once converted, it spent time on display in the museum prior to being sold to a Southern California owner where it spent time in another collection been used sparingly at best. It has been serviced continually and has thus remained in virtually as new condition, commensurate with its low original mileage. It its most recent ownership and within the last year, this TR has been treated to a major servicing to ensure its being ready and able at a moment"s notice for NY Hampton"s Summer use. It has received a major engine out service, gearbox service, absolutely anything and everything has been serviced to keep this TR in superb and ready to use condition throughout. As stated above, this TR is superb, cosmetically, mechanically and structurally. The Ferrari factory produced only one Testarossa convertible for Fiat President Gianni Agnelli. The rare Straman Convertibles were produce at a great expense and embody the same open air motoring of by gone coach built convertibles.
