For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a 1948 Chevrolet Pickup Long bed. You will be very hard pressed to come across another one of these. This specific truck is a real beauty. The Chevy was fully restored and painted in Tangelo Pearl Orange paint. Along with a nice paint scheme the interior is comprised of beige vinyl. Due to the color combo our staff has nicknamed the truck \Dreamsicle\. Under the hood of this hot rod truck is a powerful 427 CID V8 big block bored .030 over with all of the goodies. Options include: AC cassette aluminum radiator coated headers oak bed with stainless rivets power brakes power steering tilt wheel keyless door poppers vinyl interior radial tires and aluminum Boyd Codington 18\ wheels. The 427 big block is backed by a 700R4 automatic transmission. This allows the truck to drive effortlessly on the highway and makes for a nice cruiser. The front suspension is a Camaro sub-frame and rear-end. The full digital gauges and suicide doors also make a nice touch. The suicide doors use the original hinges on the truck just flipped to different sides. This way you have a custom look without giving up quality. Also custom are 1955 Chevrolet headlights!
