This 1946 Willys CJ2A is located in our Louisville KY showroom. This 46 Jeep was meticulously torn apart down to a bare frame then using new and refurbished parts built back to the condition you see today. 1945 was a great time for the states. We had won the war people were getting back to regular jobs and the economy was beginning to take off. The GI\s had came back with stories from the war and they all had one thing in common they all had a jeep involved. So in 1945 the Willys Overland company still heavy in surplus parts began producing a civilian version for them. By the end of 46 they had sold an astounding 73000 CJ\s and the legend was born. This CJ has the period correct 2.2 liter inline 4 putting out a respectable 60 horses. However the amazing 105 LBFT of torque meant this little guy could pretty much crawl through anything. With a curb weight of right under a ton it was super light so if did get stuck two GI\s could easily push it out. This one has the period correct tan paint with the matte finish as well as the having the correct axles. DANA 25 in the front and a DANA 41 in the rear which to this day are still known for their toughness and durability. The 3 speed transmission keeps everything about this CJ period correct. With it only having not quite 500 miles since the restoration it is sure to have years of enjoyment ahead. It will definitely bring you back to a better time and place I mean I can honestly smell the apple pie from here. This piece of Americana can be seen including an HD video at or call at for more information. Price: $15,995
