This 1970 Chevrolet C10 gets a lot of things right: the right stance the right color the right powertrain and the right price. If you want the most desirable vehicle in one of the hottest segments of the old car hobby right now you really need to put this slick pickup in your garage ASAP. With just a glance you can see that the Marina Blue paint on this pickup is astounding. The reflections are a mile deep and there are no ripples waves or orange peel in the beautifully buffed and polished surface. It certainly helps that the steel underneath is in good order including a brand new bed whose bulging fenders give the pickup a muscular sporty look. Panel alignment is quite good throughout suggesting a lot of extra hours spent getting everything to fit just right something you don't often see in vehicles that are this affordable. It hasn't been customized or shaved in any way so it has an honest OEM look right down to the factory marker lights and shiny chrome bumpers. Drop the brightly marked tailgate ad you'll find fresh oak planks that glow with a honey-colored varnish a wonderful complement to the deep Marina Blue bodywork. The factory grille is in excellent shape and with a light tint on the windows it certainly looks aggressive without being obvious about it. It just looks right. Nothing too radical going on inside just more expertly finished work to create a truck that's probably better than new. The factory bench has been reupholstered in correct pleated vinyl with door panels and a dashboard to match. Factory instruments are cleverly augmented with aftermarket dials for things like oil pressure temperature and voltage as well as a tachometer nestled into the center where the optional factory unit would be. And you really do have to admit that it's pretty cool to see a 4-speed shifter poking out of the transmission tunnel like that making this C10 closer to a Camaro with a bed than a garden-variety pickup truck. A factory AM/FM/cassette stereo head unit in the dash has a nice OEM look to it and sounds a lot better than the crackling original AM radio and a sliding rear window keeps it pleasant inside even on the hottest days. Thanks to a GM ZZ4 crate motor this truck runs and drives superbly. Topped by a 4-barrel carburetor and aluminum intake the 350 cubic inch V8 starts easily and burbles away like a muscle car. The engine bay is quite neat and tidy with good service access and lots of new equipment including a modern alternator new power brake booster and master cylinder and a few dress-up components to make it look good. It's backed by a 4-speed manual gearbox so it's a blast to drive and you'll never get tired of the burly Flowmaster exhaust system's soundtrack. The suspension has been lowered only slightly giving it a sporty rake and just the right stance on those fat 255/70/15 BFG radials and shiny chrome Rally wheels. Beautifully finished with a fairly sizeable investment in the hardware this is a no-stories pickup that runs and drives just as well as it looks. Call today!
