Introduced in 1953 as the final variant in the T-Series, the TF Midget was essentially a modernized TD with fender-integrated headlights and a new waterfalling grille hiding an improved radiator. The car came standard with the Mark II XPAG motor displacing 1250cc and fed through dual SU carburetors. Compression was 8.1:1 and horsepower was up to 57.5! Production including the two prototypes reached 9,602 before the TF was retired in early April of 1955. We are very excited to offer this beautiful 1954 MG TF! Finished in a magnificent coat of Almond Green metallic, this TF is absolutely gorgeous out in the sunlight. The exterior is complemented with a Biscuit leatherette interior with tan canvas top and side curtains! Powered by its original, numbers matching 1250cc XPAG Inline 4, this car is a pleasure to drive through the countryside, especially with its slick-shifting 4-speed manual transmission. The car is further fitted with authentic Lucas tripod headlights and Lucas fog lights, badge bar, 3-spoke banjo steering wheel, tan canvas tonneau cover and full Jaeger instrumentation. The car currently rides of 48 spoke wire wheels with proper 550-15 Dunlop Super C49 tires. It has clearly been restored with an excellent attention to detail! From the superb application of the paint, the quality installation of the interior, all new cloth cover wiring, the rebuilt suspension, steering, & braking system, all the way to the outstanding mechanical road qualities this car possesses, it really is as much a delight to view standing still as it is driving it down the road! All of the gauges have been rebuilt and function properly. The new exhaust offers a splendid note no radio could ever match! We encourage you to come and see this vehicle for yourself before it is too late. And of course, feel free to call us personally with any requests or further questions. We look forward to working with you! Price: $39,900
