Many attributes were important to the success of Henry Ford’s Model T but one of them was the ruggedness and reliability which adapted it to any number of applications.Specialty suppliers soon flocked to the Model T’s platform supplying a variety of coachwork from runabout speedsters for young sports to rugged commercial bodies that pressed even the Model T to the limits of its endurance.Today the Depot Hack is one of the most popular. Originally intended as an adaptation for hotels resorts and estates to transport guests from railroad depots and steamship piers the Depot Hack’s combination of multiple passenger accommodations and the innate appeal of their brightly varnished wood bodies still appeals. This 1925 Model T from near the end of the model’s long and storied production is handsomely presented in black (favored by Henry because black paint dried days faster than colored lacquers) with very attractive varnished wood body.It features three row seating a black composite covered roof over varnished wood battens black upholstery black wood spoke wheels single sidemount cowl lights electric headlights with chrome escutcheons and rubber mats on the floors.Adding to its use in modern traffic the two-speed epicyclic transmission is supplemented by a Ruckstell two-speed rear axle. The paint chrome wood and upholstery have been done to very good standards. The engine is orderly in nearly showroom condition and fitted with an auxiliary water pump generator and electric starter. It is ready to haul a passel of grandkids and their friends to the beach take a featured place in summer parades or resume service at a resort ranch or grand hotel. Price: $29,500
