1954 Chevrolet Bel Air A time capsule to say the least, this amazing little two door sedan has only 24,212 pampered miles from new! A three owner car, it was built in Oshawa, Ontario and sold new at Humberview Chevrolet in Toronto (which remains in business today) to a couple who for some reason seldom used the car. After the husband passed it was sold to the second owner, who lovingly maintained the originality of the car for over 26 years. The third owner acquired the car in like new condition, having only to change the factory installed tires due to age to correct style polyester wide white walls. One repaint in correct Breton blue/India ivory was done in the early seventies, with the factory applied finish remaining in the door jambs, inside the trunk & engine compartment. The matching two-tone blue cloth/vinyl upholstery from new remains in exceptional condition to this day, as does all glass, stainless and chrome remaining showroom fresh. The original 235cid 115 hp Blueflame six cylinder engine and column shifted three speed manual transmission perform flawlessly, in fact you can"t even hear the engine running at idle.
