Starting with an ultra straight and rust free canvas, a base coat clear coat skin of True Blue Metallic was lovingly applied to the lower body and Dove Gray Metallic to the roof and fender skirts for a subtle look and with a finish that is light years beyond that of what Dearborn's finest were producing at the time. With nothing left to chance in this restoration, all badging, chrome and stainless steel was re-plated and polished to an equally high luster. Underneath all this loveliness, a fully detailed undercarriage with just the right balance of gloss and texture; in full harmony with its new outer persona and offering a ride that you have to experience to believe. Open its vault like doors and you are welcomed by a luxurious split bench interior in Dove Gray, complete with contrasting Dark Gray piping. As you settle in, take note of the original transparent speedometer cluster flanked by a row of period style custom gauges which even includes a clock. Close your eyes, and you can actually hear it ticking, underscoring the quality of this exceptional automobile. Every touch point of this vehicle has been thoroughly thought out and executed. Look under the hood and you will discover that even though Ford replaced its reliable "Flat Head V-8" with an overhead valve "Y-Block" unit, that this is neither a flat head or a Y-block but that of a 5.0 liter Mustang.
