1949 Triumph TR-2000 for sale in Louisville Kentucky. This 1949 Triumph TR-2000 is a classic example of British Sports Cars. The body was made from aluminum due to steel shortages after World War 2 and was bolted to a tubular steel frame. A 2088cc inline 4 cylinder powers this little 5 seater sports car. The front seat sits 3 on the bench which meant there was no room for the shifter on the 3 speed manual transmission so it was moved to the column. The rear seats tuck into the trunk along with a spare tire and feature their own separate windshield. All 5 seats have seat belts for safety. Finished in British Racing Green this little sports car looks neat with the white wall tires and chrome hub caps. Under the hood you will find a tool kit and an air pump for inflating tires. This 1949 Triumph TR2000 also features a tan leather interior manual convertible top and a AM/FM/CD player mounted in the glove box.
