Beautifully restored and impeccably maintained 1954 Buick Skylark. 1 of only 836 produced in 1954, this Skylark is an extremely rare and highly desirable American classic. It has had just one owner for over two decades and underwent a professional, no-expense-spared restoration that was completed in the late 2000s.The Skylark was the ultimate luxury offering from Buick in 1954, coming standard with a number of lavish features. Base MSRP in '54 was $4,483 and Skylarks were equipped to target the Series 62 Cadillac as main competition. Luxury amenities came in the form of a leather interior with a power front bench seat, power windows and a power operated soft top. Even power brakes were standard on the Skylark -- a feature not often seen in '54, even as an option. The Skylark was powered by a 322ci Fireball V8 engine that drove a Twin-Turbine Dynaflow automatic transmission and was rated at 200hp.This example is presented in factory-correct Arctic White and the body shows incredible finish, panel fit and gaps. All of the exterior brightwork was refinished or replated during restoration and red wheel wells house 15-inch polished wire wheels with wide white wall tires. The correct Fireball V8 under the hood was rebuilt, balanced and blueprinted, and is paired with its correct Dynaflow transmission. The interior was totally redone in red leather with matching red carpeting, steering wheel and refinished interior trimming. The original owners guide, model information and even an original sales brochure is on file with this Skylark, and the trunk holds a full-size, polished wire spare with wide white wall rubber. This stunning Skylark is an extremely rare and exciting opportunity to own what is considered to be among the most desirable post-war products from GM. Comparable Skylarks have been known to fetch upwards of $250,000 at auction and this example is a fantastic investment opportunity.
