This 1964 Ford F100 is one trick truck! From the ultra-slick paint and smoothed bodywork to the fully dressed engine bay it's a fresh take on an old favorite. Someone has invested a ton of time and money to make this one-of-a-kind pickup truly stand out and you'll really have to see it in person to get a full dose of its awesomeness. First off the two-tone burgundy-over-silver paint job looks fantastic on the upright Ford's sheetmetal. There are a few neat body details that are enhanced by the modern paint treatment and the relief line running the perimeter of the body is a natural color break. The silver metallic paint also emphasizes the wonderfully ornate front fenders which flow neatly into the grille up front. You were probably so busy looking at that gorgeous two-stage urethane paint that you didn't notice that most of the trim including the door handles mirrors and all the badges have been smoothed and filled. The tailgate has vanished leaving a smooth rear end with flush-mounted taillights and a custom roll pan underneath another attention-grabbing feature. The bed itself is finished with spray-in bedliner material and a stainless diamond plate floor with matching boxes for the fuel and battery. The few piece of bright trim that do remain including the grille and front bumper are in excellent condition and add just the right amount of jewelry. The interior is classically simple with black upholstery on the original bench seat simple door panels with contrasting piping and a color-matched dashboard. The factory instrument panel is flashy enough to look custom all by itself with the original speedometer in its center and a SunPro tach on the steering column. A fat wood-rimmed steering wheel somehow looks exactly right in this '60s hauler and a custom center console was fabbed up to house the shifter for the C6 3-speed automatic transmission. A thundering AM/FM/CD stereo with subwoofer offers enough power to make your fillings rattle. Tinted windows help with the low-profile look and keep things cool inside and everything remains in first-class condition with few signs of use. The engine is a Ford 400 cubic inch small block V8 a derivative of the 351 Cleveland with a taller deck for more low-end torque. Ostensibly intended for big vehicles (of course) it's one of the more sporting truck engines of the period with a great power-to-weight ratio and lots of untapped power potential. With a mild cam Edelbrock Performer intake and a Holley 4-barrel this one really wakes up and gives this vintage pickup the moves of a muscle car. It's also neatly detailed with lots of red piping chrome valve covers and beautifully finished inner fender panels. Dual exhaust with throaty mufflers gives it the right tone and the 9-inch rear with 4.10 gears inside certainly make for a thrilling soundtrack under acceleration. There's also a disc brake at each corner front and rear and the suspension was lowered just enough to give it a rake and allow the 235/70/15 Kelly radials to fill the wheel wells. Flashy 15-inch chrome wheels complete a very impressive package. This is an incredibly well-done pickup that's unusual enough to get second glances and so beautifully built that everyone who looks will stick around to see all the details. Call today!
