The Silver Wraith name was the designated by Rolls Royce in 1977 to distinguish between the shorter wheelbase Silver Shadow and the longer wheelbase. Up to 1977 no such name variance was offered, it was either a SWB or LWB. The design was a major departure from its predecessor, the Silver Cloud: although several styling cues from the cloud were modified and preserved, as the automobile sold well. From 1970 through 1980 a 6.75L producing 189 HP was used. It was coupled to a GM sourced Turbo 400 transmission. The cars most innovative feature was a high-pressure hydraulic system licensed from the Citroen, with a dual-circuit braking and a self-leveling suspension. The Wraith II is identified by all of alterations found on the Shadow and additionally an ever-flex covered roof, a small rear opera-style window (some customers deleted the smaller back window) and different wheel covers. Some Wraiths were fitted with electric dividers between the front and rear passenger compartments, however this took up the extra leg-room of the long wheel base. This particular car is believed to have three owners from new and up until last year was a Florida vehicle. It comes with the original owners manual and owner card. It is a gorgeous color combination showing a very clean interior and a decent interior. This Silver Wraith is of driver quality and is ready to be enjoyed. There are some cosmetic items that could be addressed if the new owner wishes to. To see over 80 photos of this car, including under carriage please visit: Price: $16,900
