A beautiful car, completely restored, driven less than 1,100 miles since restoration was completed. Only 12,500 miles SINCE NEW, body disassembled, stripped ot bare metal, primered and painted to a show finish. No rust, no corrosion and NO wood rot. Frame painted black Rotoleum. Engine was in excellent condition, 60 psi oil pressure when warm, no smoke, perfect running. SU carbs professionally cleaned, tested, reassembled. All new bearings in transmission. Excellent seats, carpets, new top, new half tonneau, very good original full tonneau. Original Walnut veneer wood dashboard, radiator shell rechromed, all lights and instruments in good working order, new wiring harness, new stainless steel exhaust, new (optional) turn signals, brakes redone, gas tnak cleanred, relined, cooling system flushed, new Tompkins steering box (allows adjustments for wear), new chrome know offs .... AN EXCELLENT show winning TC. And TCs are great cars ..real pre war driving characteristics but with the advantages of hydraulic brakes, synchromesh transmission, press fit bearings ...yet with those beautiful 19" wire wheels, clam shall fenders, solid front axle, all that is lacking is a pair of Brroklands racing screens, a nice day, and putting the folding windshield in the dropped position.
