1959 Porsche 356A Sunroof Coupe VIN: 106022 California Car Matching numbers Original color combination Original longitudinals Show winner In 2011 this California car was restored by renowned 356 guru Tom Drummond of Wholesale California in Costa Mesa, CA. Before the restoration began he reports the car had been restored in the late 80s, and had been very well kept over the years. Very little bodywork had to be performed, as the car was straight and rust free. The doors had the original factory chalk marks inside, and the hood and trunk are also original to the car. The car retains its original longitudinals, and has been repainted in its factory color of Fjord Green. The interior remains true to the cars roots as well, being redone in the original Beige leatherette with beige corduroy inserts. The result of Tom's work is an impeccable restoration of a very original California car. The 356 presents as well, if not better, than the day it rolled off the showroom floor. -
