1952 Chevrolet Deluxe Bel Air Hardtop This is a very attractive '52 style line Deluxe Bel Air 2 door hardtop. Newer paint, applied professionally, in correct Emerald Green with a Beach Ivory roof. The new 1952 styling was particularly attractive when packaged in Deluxe trim. Easily noticed distinctions included body rub moldings on front fenders and doors; bright metal rear fender gravel guards (with long extension moldings sweeping up over the fender-skirted wheelhousings) and Deluxe script logos directly above the gravel guards on the rear fender pontoons. Bright metal windshield and window reveals were featured as well. A two-spoke steering wheel, with full blowing ring, replaced the three spoke Special-type with horn button. Deluxes also had ivory plastic control knobs with bright metal inserts; dome lamps with automatic door switches, two inside sun visors and richer interior trims with foam rubber cushions. Upholstery combinations were reversed, with dark gray chevron pattern cloth and lighter toned upper contrast panels. Sitting on a newer set of BF Goodrich "Silver Town" whide whites. Powered by the "Power Glide" in line 6 cylinder, 235 C.I.D. mated to the "Power Glide" automatic transmission. Show or drive, ready to be enjoyed.
