DeVille is one of the most recognized nameplates in automotive history, and cars like this are exactly the reason why. These cars were the top of the Cadillac line when they were introduced, and they were loaded with features. The example you see here before you is just as well. It has power windows (In 1955!), a 4-speed automatic transmission, a silky smooth 331 cubic inch V8, automatic headlights, power steering, power brakes, power seats, and of course gorgeous real wire wheels. This example has been further enhanced and modernized by its last owner. There"s a modern hidden CD player in the glove compartment to make it enjoyable to cruise with your favorite tunes (but the original radio remains in the dash, and appears as if it is not modified). There are also fantastic Coker radial wide whitewall tires, giving it that 1950s look with 21st century tire technology - the best of both worlds. There"s a dual master cylinder, to improve braking, electric wiper blades for reliability, and a modern alternator that LOOKS like an old school generator under the hood. The car also comes with a copy of the 1955 shop manual, so you know that it was well-maintained and cared for for much of its life. This 1955 Cadillac Coupe DeVille underwent a restoration between 2004 and 2005. It was repainted in its original color combo, Cape Ivory with an Arlington Green roof. The motor and transmission were rebuilt during the restoration as well, and the car idles and runs very well. When you think of Cadillac luxury and cushioned rides, this is exactly that car. To keep it safe, there"s also a Lo Jack system on board, so you can be assured that your new classic will remain yours. The interior of this car is amazing.
