While the trim tag indicates that it was originally a V8 sport coupe, this Chevelle certainly never left the Atlanta factory with a V8 like what it has today. Under the hood is a Bill Mitchell Hardcore 540 cubic inch V8 that puts out a dyno verified 630 horsepower. You want speed? This Chevelle"s got it. World aluminm heads, Hooker competition headers, MSD ignition, and a full March billet accessory drive are just SOME of the goodies in this top quality build. To handle all the power, there"s a fully built 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission, and a GM 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 rear gears. There"s also, under the rear bumper, a fill valve for the air bags that are in the rear springs, so you can adjust the ride for hard launches (go ahead and stomp on it… we won"t tell anybody). There are Hotchkis control arms and sway bars that make this Chevelle quite a handler. It"s begging to be driven, with YOU behind the wheel. The interior has been refinished in white leather, with teal SS embroidery in the seat headrests to match the exterior paint.
