Stk. 1846 1969 Ford Mustang GT Restored in 2002 to a very high level, this laser straight Mustang thrills in every aspect. Originally built at the Metuchen, New Jersey plant on November 25th 1968 for the Charlotte District; this Mustang Sportsroof rolled off the assembly line wearing a Black Jade paint scheme over a Dark Ivy Gold Corinthian Knit Vinyl interior. Upon final shipping its destination point was Town and Country Ford in Charlotte, North Carolina. Its factory equipment list includes: GT Equipment Group, Three-Speed Manual Transmission, F70X14 Wide Oval Belted Tires, Rocker Panel Moldings, AM Radio, Interior Décor Group, Tinted-Glass-Complete and color keyed mirrors. These items along with a breakdown of its Data Plate are documented by a Deluxe Marti Report. In 82,272 miles, the only changes that have been made to this amazing pony is that the original three-speed manual transmission was switched out in favor of a Toploader four-speed manual; the Dark Ivy interior was replaced in favor of Black knit vinyl, and for safety sake, the original bias ply tires were eschewed in favor of more modern P225/70/R14 radial tires. Residing in a pristine and correctly detailed engine bay is the original 351 M-code four-barrel V8 with a compression ratio of 10.7:1 that churns out 290 horsepower. The Toploader transmission transfers power to the ground via the original 3.25:1 standard rear axle. Nestle into the cockpit and take in the classic twin-pod walnut dash, 120MPH speedometer and working clock. Take control of the road with its slender wood-rimmed steering wheel and walnut GT shift knob. Turn the key and prepare yourself for a glorious cacophony of sound pouring out of its quad-tipped exhaust that will leave everyone's senses reeling in your wake.
