You want a '34 Streetrod? There are dozens available at any given moment. But if you want something a little unique that still has that same mid-30s style this 1934 Chevy deserves your consideration. With an Outlaw body and chassis it's a well-engineered rod that drives and rides like it should and offers a fresh take on an old favorite. The chopped two-door sedan has an undeniably sleek look that seems to emphasize the 1930s design elements. If you know Outlaw you know their bodies are first-rate but even the best fiberglass needs to have experts finishing it to get the results you see here. Super smooth surfaces mean hours of laborious hand sanding and the fit of the doors hood and fenders are more evidence that the guys in charge of the build knew what they were doing. Of course with an all-new body it's easy to do stuff like shaved door handles hidden hinges and that cool three-piece hood and the chopped roof has just the right amount of rake in it to add the ideal hot-rod look. The bright blue paint is vivid no doubt about that but it's also clean and modern so you won't find yourself out of fashion in a few months like with some more trendy rods. Note the artful pinstriping that wraps around the body the cool headlights and the custom bug shield for the grille that's a smart idea for a car that's going to get driven. Now that sedans are coming into their own as legitimate hot rod material you'll discover that being able to take the whole family with you is a big advantage. The handsome gray tweed upholstery is anchored by burgundy carpets making for a very tastefully done passenger compartment. Every square inch of the interior is wrapped in gray tweed or leather and the stitching is absolutely first-rate. Dig the custom door panels the seamless dash full of Dakota Digital gauges and the beautifully trimmed garnish moldings. Then there's the tilt wheel with a leather-wrapped billet wheel and the neatly-installed Vintage Air A/C system which is so well integrated that it looks like it was born there in 1934. An AM/FM/CD stereo provides the entertainment and everything is in such amazing condition it's hard to believe the build is nearly 20 years old. It's really really nice. A familiar 350 cubic inch Chevy V8 provides the kind of reliable power that makes for a great-driving rod. Brightly finished with lots of chrome but nothing radical it starts easily and hums down the road for mile after mile without complaint. A 4-barrel carb and aluminum manifold make power on the intake side while twin Flowmasters handle the exhaust. The chassis is sensibly built with a Mustang II suspension power front disc brakes and a 9-inch Ford rear axle with 3.00 gears inside. A TH350 3-speed automatic swaps the gears and it sits right on a set of staggered 17- and 18-inch Billet Specialties wheels. Those wheels which look like vintage Torque Thrusts are wrapped in 205/45/17 front and 225/55/18 rear Yokohama rubber that fill the fenders perfectly. Beautifully built fully sorted and ready to enjoy this handsome Chevy rod delivers something a bit out of the ordinary without changing the basic recipe. The package also includes car covers certificate of manufacture so it's easy to register and a Battery Tender so it's always ready to rock. Call today!
