1949 MG-YT 4-PASSENGER TOURER. 4-passenger, fully restored in white with tan interior and top. Very rare and absolutely adorable. $42,500 1949 MG-YT TOURER #19798284. (Stock #3585.) To complement the very popular 2-seater “TC" model cars, MG built a very interesting 4-seater tourer model in very limited numbers (904 in both left-and right-hand drive form) and identified it as the “YT Tourer.' With room for four in full open convertible form, the YT is quintessentially British from its “double scuttle' dashboard to its fold-down windscreen, “banjo' steering wheel and instantly recognizable vertical chrome grill. Ours is a very rare left-hand drive (American delivery) example finished in white with tan interior and top. We purchased this cute little car from a collector"s estate in Southampton, N.Y. $42,500.
