All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. All hail the '55 Chevy! As one of the most important and identifiable Chevrolet models, this car ushered in the small block Chevrolet V8. The "shoebox" was a revolutionary design in many ways, and this 210 post (2-door sedan) model is a fantastic example of everything that makes these cars so desirable. This car has been through a frame-off restoration. It began with a solid, straight rust-free car and ended with the classic red and white Chevy you see here. Everything was done right; body bushings, brake lines, ball joints, etc. A few nice performance touches were added including front disc brakes and rear traction bars. There are also air shocks in back so you can set the rear height to your liking. I think it has the perfect look, especially with the Cragar wheels. An original V8 car, this 210 now has a rebuilt 350 cubic inch motor. It looks beautiful under the hood, especially with the painted air cleaner and valve covers along with the ram horn exhaust manifolds. It has a mild cam and a few modern goodies including an Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap intake, Holley double pumper carb, and chrome plated alternator. The engine is a coupled to a Muncie M20 4-speed transmission and 3789312 positraction rear end. This is a very reliable setup that sounds great too. The grey and white interior blends well with the rest of the car. The seats, carpet, door panels, and headliner all look very sharp. The dash and steering wheel are in excellent condition too. A tachometer along with a set of underdash aftermarket gauges have been added for practicality. Note the glove box door has been signed by several cast members of the original American Graffiti, which is a great touch in any '55. There aren't many cars like the tri-5 Chevys, and there aren't many examples as nice as this one. Everything is done and ready to go. Just fire up the engine, roll down the windows, drop the clutch and you're ready to go find Milner. Price: $38,750
