1971 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible, this was the last year that Oldsmobile would have the 442 as a separate model. Standard equipment for the 1971 442 was a special 455 cubic inch engine, dual exhaust, special springs, stabilizer bars, Strato bucket seats, heavy duty wheels, special badging and a deluxe steering wheel. This 442 is finished in Matador Red exterior with a white interior. The car is loaded with factory options such as power steering & brakes, power windows, power seats, power top and air conditioning. The 455 non matching numbers motor has been balanced and blueprinted and is mated to a correct turbo 400 automatic transmission. This Oldsmobile 442 has gone through a full body off restoration by the previous owner and has been very well maintained since that time. This 442 is ready to drive anywhere.
