Here is a 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Aero Coupe with a new GM 350 Crate engine. The new Crate engine was delivered to Jim Grubb Motorsports where the engine was disassembled and balanced then reassembled with new performance camshaft, lifters, timing set, gaskets, seals and an Edelbrock intake manifold. It comes equipped with power steering, power disc brakes and dual exhaust. This Monte Carlo also has a B&M TH400 automatic transmission with a torque master 2000rpm stall converter. The rear end was removed, rebuilt and reset ratio to accommodate transmission gear ratio at Hoopers Read End Exchange. After the installation, the speedometer was recalibrated at North Hollywood Speedometer. The exterior is painted a period correct Chevrolet Maroon color and sits on 15' BF Goodrich tires and American Racing Equipment wheels. The interior is matching Burgundy color leather and it has Air-conditioning, power windows, and a Pioneer Am/Fm/CD player. In 1987 Chevrolet produced only 6,052 Aero Coupes of a total of 39,251 SS Monte Carlos. This 1987 Aero Coupe V-8 is a must see and hard to find American Classic!! Price: $17,500 obo
